Taking on a new vendor and a new product is often a high risk process for many resellers / ISV’s and system integrators. The Vendor 80 / 20 rule dictates that whilst 20% of the resellers will deliver 80% of the revenues, 80% of the resellers will deliver little to no sales at all. This failure rate is extremely expensive both in time and money.

 

So why do so many relationships fail?

 

The answers are often a result of failures on behalf of the vendor and reseller – very simply they should never have started the Partnership.
